Is 115 vac power available?
Yes, the AC
option is comprised of an AC power supply, a solid state relay
and field wiring terminals. The AC option is incorporated in a
small, compact junction box. Dual conduit entry allows high voltage
and low voltage conductors to be run in separate conduit
systems.

Can the One Series retrofit an existing
switch?
With the new AC power supply option (output code
"D"), you can replace an existing mechanical switch. All you need to
do is pull a neutral Duire from the device you are controlling to
the one Series switch.

Does the One Series have self
diagnostics?
The I
AM WORKING™ function provides continuous indication, both
locally and remotely of The health of the product. Identifies loss
of power and ensures the microprocessor is operating properly.
Ensures software program (watchdog) is working. Verifies the
integrity of the primary sensor and the switched output
status.

Does the One Series check for sensor
failure?
Temperature models will detect both an open or
shorted probe. Pressure models will only detect an open sensor and
reverts to zero in the highly unlikely event of a shorted
sensor.

Are other wetted materials
available?
Optional O-ring materials are available in
Aflas, Buna N, EPR and Kalrez. Viton is standard on this
product.

Do we need to calibrate the switch
twice?
This is not necessary with the calibration method
utilized. Digital signals are not prone to drift or shifts in value,
thereby affecting the calibration of the product.

How do I select a deadband on my pressure
switch?
This could be done via an adjustable deadband
switch option. This optional switch allows the user to dial in a
deadband within a given range. The option part numbers are 1519 and
1520 and can be used on many of our switches.

Does UE offer more than one switch in a single
enclosure?
Yes, UE offers dual and even triple switches
(400
series). Dual switches are offered in general purpose or
explosion proof units.

What is the difference between proof pressure and over
range pressure?
Over range pressure is the working
pressure of the unit. That is the pressure unit can see on a daily
basis without damage to the unit or compromise in repeatability.
Proof pressure is the maximum pressure the unit can see on an
occasional basis. Although there would be no physical damage to the
unit , there may be a need to recalibrate the unit.

Can I wire my switch NO or NC and do I need to specify
this when ordering?
All of our switches can be wired
either NO or NC. You do not need to specify this when
ordering.
